During the test your teacher will provide:

Formula for area of rectangle and circle. [From this students should be able to determine area of triangle, and surface of prisms like cylinders, etc.]

Formula for volume of a prism (V = B • h) [which can be used for all prisms]

We will add cone and sphere volume (if they are on the test; I have to peek at the test first...)

We will provide "weird" units like: ____ stones = _____ lbs. or 3 tsp = 1 tbsp ... if they appear in the test.

Fair assessment with questions and necessary paper.

During the test your teacher will NOT provide:
We will NOT provide: Calculators, rulers, scissors, pencils or pens or erasers, compasses; you may NOT borrow tools during a test.
We will NOT provide: Names of abbreviations or amounts related to metric prefixes: giga (G), mega (M), kilo (k), [SI reference units for length, volume, time and mass], deci (d), centi (c), milli (m), micro (µ), nano (n)
We will NOT provide: Information such as "how many time bigger is a Mm than a km?"
We will NOT provide: Names of shapes
We will NOT provide: Calculators, rulers, scissors, pencils or pens or erasers, compasses
"If you do not bring any of the required tools I will deduct one letter grade per missing tool AND you must come in after school to take the test - where I will provide the missing tools BECAUSE I WANT YOU TO DO AS WELL AS YOU CAN!"
